Unlike our other events, the Strengthen Gathering is for anyone who feels a connection to ChristLife’s mission and charism. This includes: Supporters and intercessors Parish teams ChristLife participants from your parishes Young families (including children!) and young adults Come away with the Lord and your fellow brothers and sisters for a weekend of renewal and encouragement in our common mission of evangelization. This year marks a special milestone: our 30th anniversary as a Catholic Apostolate! Together we want to celebrate the good things the Lord has done for us, and be strengthened together as missionary disciples of the Lord Jesus. What to Expect? If you decide to room with your spouse, friends, or team members, the registration rate decreases per person. Each retreat room has a bathroom, and each person will have their own bed. The weekend will include inspirational teachings, praise and worship, the sacraments, group interaction, and times for fellowship, fun, and family. Do I have to plan for lodging and meals? The Strengthen Gathering will be held at Sandy Cove Retreat Center, which provides well-furnished hotel style rooms and a dining hall. Registration cost is inclusive of lodging and meals. I registered and can't attend. Are refunds available? Strengthen Gathering registrations are not refundable. You may email info@christlife.org to transfer the registration to another person. How will the event engage young families and children? Our desire to engage young families and children flows from our passion to pass on ChristLife’s mission to the next generation. We intentionally picked Sandy Cove, because it is a family-friendly retreat center. The grounds include mini golf, a playground, multiple sports courts and fields, a zip line, boating, and, depending on the weather, an outdoor pool. During main teaching sessions we will have a breakout room for children, toddlers, and babies. Our specific approach will be flexible depending on the number of kids and their ages. This all will be organically planned and facilitated by families, for families. A planning team of parents is currently forming.
