Mar 12 2026 When God Underlines Scripture When we read Scripture with the expectation that God wants to speak to us through His living Word, often the Holy Spirit underlines something for you to pay attention to specifically. In this video, Dave shares how to be more attentive to this movement of the Holy Spirit and tips for memorizing these key Scriptures.
Feb 26 2026 The Father’s Longing For You We read many stories of God’s great love for His people in the Scriptures. We find one such example in Luke 15 where Jesus gives us the parables of lost things: sheep, coin, and son. In these parables, Jesus tells us about the love of God the Father and how He longs for us to be united with Him. In his recent video, Dave Nodar shares a few reflections on this topic.
Jan 29 2026 Pray and Don’t Lose Heart In the Gospel of Luke, Chapter 18, Jesus tells us we “ought always to pray and not lose heart.” The life of a disciple is foundationally a life of union with God. We must never be afraid to reach out to our Father, trusting in Him to provide for all of our needs. In this video, Dave Nodar shares a few reflections from this Gospel passage.
Jan 07 2026 Offering Your Five Loaves ChristLife hosted our Strengthen Gathering in September 2025 for all friends of ChristLife: team members, course participants, and supporters. We heard messages of encouragement and hope to strengthen us as disciples of Jesus Christ, and helpful guidance for those offering ChristLife in their communities. Dianne Davis, speaker in the Sharing Christ course, gave an inspiring talk called “Offering Your Five Loaves to the Mission of Evangelization.” She shared a Scripture from Mark 6:34-37. Jesus had preached all day and His followers were tired and hungry. Instead of sending them off to find food, Jesus told His apostles, “You give them something to eat.” (v. 37) They had no provisions, but ultimately, a young boy offered all he had (5 loaves of bread and 2 fish) which Jesus multiplied to feed 5000. Dianne asked us: What are your five loaves right now? What little offering can you place in Jesus’ hands? She offered a few suggestions: 1) Your YES Your first loaf isn’t your strength; it’s your yes. Are you willing to be available? If you bring Jesus your small yes, He will supply the strength and multiply whatever little you have. 2) Your Day Give God your day, your ordinary schedule and encounters. Then let Him use whoever He places before you for a divine appointment. God can open small doors through an ordinary relationship. 3) Your Prayers Intercessory prayer is powerful, especially when united to our sufferings. Pray, offer a holy hour, or fast for someone in your life. 4) Your Table (Hospitality) Hospitality is any space you make for someone to be seen, heard, and loved in Jesus’ name. A simple invitation to “sit with me” can become a friendship, an opportunity to share about the Lord. 5) Your Service Small acts of love open hearts to the Gospel. You can choose a corporal work of mercy or one spiritual work of mercy and do them for others in Jesus’ name. These five loaves may feel small, but when we place them in the hands of Jesus He blesses, breaks, and multiplies them. What are your loaves? Offer them to God and trust Him to provide more than enough. Photo by Diego Arenas de Rodrigo on Unsplash
Sep 03 2024 A Week of Equipping Catholic Leaders “Let the favor of the Lord our God be upon us, and establish the work of our hands for us—yes establish the work of our hands” (Psalm 90:17). God is so good and answered this prayer abundantly throughout the Equip Conference! For three days in June, 110 people from parishes across the U.S. and internationally attended our Equip training conference to be spiritually refreshed and learn the basics of the ChristLife evangelization process. Kicked off by keynote speaker Dr. Ralph Martin, the President of Renewal Ministries, participants were encouraged to recognize the seriousness of the times we live in, while relying on the Lord to faithfully and boldly walk in the way of holiness. Our conference team of speakers enthusiastically shared how to use the ChristLife process to respond to this call to holiness and evangelization. Throughout the three days together, Dianne Davis, Jim Roche, Dave Nodar, Fr. Erik Arnold, Fr. Dale Picarella, and other speakers encouraged the participants with talks that explained the process while also sharing the fruit of the ChristLife courses: Discovering Christ, Following Christ, and Sharing Christ. One participant noted: One thing that became evident to me was that the [entire] Discovering, Following, Sharing Christ cycle is all about evangelization, not just the Sharing Christ course.” In addition to learning the specifics of how to run each course, attendees were given the opportunity to experience many of the activities from the three courses: being prayed with for an outpouring of the Holy Spirit, prayer practicums on forgiveness, the Spirit-empowered life, and renunciation, and creating cardboard testimonies. The power of these experiences were echoed by many. The presentations and practices were fantastic and are a great tool for learning how to live and share life in Christ.” Inspiring and hope-filled testimonies of changed lives, given by graduates of the ChristLife process, gave witness to the power of God’s love to transform lives. I was excited and energized by everyone sharing their testimonies.” A spiritual highlight of the conference was the Holy Hour with praise led by Fr. Erik Arnold, pastor of St. John the Evangelist and a ChristLife speaker. This was a powerful time of spiritual refreshment and renewal. Dave Nodar, ChristLife founder and senior leader, who gave conference bookend talks, provided an inspirational send off with the final talk about the Lord’s vision of evangelization. He challenged the ChristLife teams to fully join the Church’s mission of evangelization to bring more souls into the Kingdom by the witness of our changed lives. I’m willing to get out of the boat and step into the water,” relayed one participant. The conference concluded with the celebration of Holy Mass, officiated by the Most Reverend Bruce Lewandowski, Auxiliary Bishop of the Archdiocese of Baltimore. Bishop Lewandowski’s words of encouragement and support to continue our personal faith journeys and evangelization efforts were the perfect conclusion to the conference. Written By: Lisa White
