Dear friends,

I’d like to share some concerns and convictions in light of recent revelations in the news.

The thief comes only to steal, kill and destroy; I came that they may have life and have it abundantly.” John 10:10

In the last few weeks, many people in the United States have watched further revelation of our anti-human culture. We have seen on various media channels video testimony on the human trafficking of baby body parts by Planned Parenthood and related ‘research’ companies.

The veil of deception (2 Thessalonians 2:9-12) has been briefly removed for anyone who has eyes to see the truth that in abortion a baby is dismembered. We have learned that infants with a head, eyes, arms, and legs may not only be killed, but killed in a way that preserves the organs so they can be ‘harvested.’

Here’s the big question: In light of what has been seen and heard over the last few weeks, will there be an outcry by the people of this nation? Or will the powers that be (Ephesians 6:12), those in government, and their media mouthpieces keep the truth suppressed by placing media attention on other major legal issues about an NFL quarterback’s deflated football and a lion shot in Africa?

The veil has been removed and offers us a chance for repentance and conversion; personally, as churches, and as a nation. What will be our response? Will there be an awakening of citizens crying out to God for mercy? Or continuing acceptance of the status quo, as we accelerate towards certain judgment? We as His Church should recognize the signs of the time and continue to cry out for mercy for the Church and the nations: ‘For the sake of his sorrowful passion, have mercy on us and on the whole world!’

The temptation for us as Church is to fall prey to the same apathetic slumber many of our contemporaries are living under. It’s easy to think, “Given how bad things are, what can I really do?” But we are Christ’s Ambassadors! God makes His appeal through us! I urge you, on behalf of Christ, be reconciled to God (2 Corinthians 5:20)! Let’s fulfill our calling in the times He has chosen for us to live.

We believe the only way to change people and our culture is through the divine power of the Good News of our Lord Jesus Christ. Jesus alone can change us from the inside out, giving us purpose and His power to live abundant life in God our Father!

The Lord commands us as His Church to live authentic and holy lives, which can offer faith to the unbelieving, hope to the hopeless, and unconditional love to those without love. Living together as His community and witnessing in word and our lifestyle to the truth of his Gospel is what the Lord expects of our parishes--by His grace and our surrender.

For our part, ChristLife will continue to train parishes to become welcoming loving communities of missionary disciples reaching out to others so that they may discover, follow, and share the Lord Jesus.

None of our work would be possible without your prayersfinancial support, and personal encouragement to keep us going!

Let’s seek the Lord and surrender ourselves more fully to the will of God our Father--praying for opportunities to witness to the abundant life Jesus offers.

Your brother in the Lord,

Dave Nodar
