ChristLife partnered with the Diocese of Steubenville to host a Discovering Christ Conference at in St. Clairsville, Ohio the weekend of September 29-30, 2017. Attendees from across the diocese—and beyond—were trained in how to use Discovering Christ to begin the process of evangelization in their parishes.

Deacon Richard Adams was inspired to bring ChristLife to the Diocese of Steubenville after attending a diocesan training conference and later bringing a team to the 2017 National Training Conference. He spent months leading up to the September weekend traveling around the diocese to share information about how parishes could use ChristLife for the work of evangelization.

Conference presenters Dave Nodar, Fr. Mike Saporito, Dianne Davis, and John Messina covered many topics for effectively using Discovering Christ. One participant commented that "[this conference] was deeply an answer to my prayers." Another participant, who brought a parish team to be trained, shared, "This was an important time to focus on myself and our parish team before diving in."

Even greater than gaining knowledge about how to use the ChristLife Evangelization Process, many left renewed and reenergized in their own relationship with Jesus Christ. After experiencing powerful times of prayer at the conference, one person shared, "I want to depend on the power of prayer more than ever." One person left saying, "I am encouraged to step out in faith and evangelize."
