Dear brothers and sisters, We have several major updates to share with you today: AppealAs of this afternoon, we don't have funds to do payroll on Monday and not to mention pay rent. This has happened a handful of times and every time our Father ends up providing for us. We are working to implement a sound financial plan, but need a miracle of provision this month. Would you consider an online donation to support our work? We recently mailed out an appeal letter to those on our mailing list. In the midst of going month to month on God's provision, we are experiencing great fruitfulness and have faith in Jesus' words "your Father who is in heaven gives good things to those who ask" (Matthew 7:11). As a staff we met on Thursday, February 18th, with Archbishop Edwin O'Brien. Thank you for everyone who prayed! The meeting went very well. We were personally very encouraged by his burning desire for evangelization in the Archdiocese to grow. We were able to share with him the completion of the Discovering Christ video production and showed him the invite video. He congratulated us on a job well done. Meet Angelus
In January we hired Angelus Virata to work as evangelization coordinator. Angelus is working half time at St. Anthony’s Parish in Washington DC and half time at ChristLife. She is working closely with Fr. Fred Close, pastor of St. Anthony's, to run Discovering Christ this Spring for parishioners and the wider Brookland neighborhood in DC. After working nearly fifteen years in the business world, she is committing herself and her talents to evangelization. She is depending on the Father’s provision to support her living expenses.
